GDI is devoted to neutralizing NOD and imposing a new world order,
led by General Solomon. GDI was formed after the second World
War(Red alert) and is a direct decendant of the Allied Nations
in the second World War. GDI draws its support from much of the
free world including: England France, Germany, Russia, Japan,
and the United States. At the present time, its interest is saving
the world in favour of humanity.

The Brotherhood of NOD

The Brotherhood of Nod is a centuries-old secret organization
whose goal is world control led by their single-named leader Kane.
Kane is a ruthless and cunning individual who accomplishes his
goal by 'silencing' anyone who opposes him. By manipulating global
mass media, Nod has led the public to believe that Nod 'liberates
countries from GDI domination'. Nod has strong ties to several
countries that have harsh forms of goverment including China,
Iraq, Cuba, and Libya. At this time, Kane was found out to be
alive, and battling has restarted.
