ConquerGaming - Command your gaming, Conquer your enemies...
p://www.conquergaming.com

Throughout the long-standing history of the Command & Conquer series there have been a few networks that were the corner stones of the community. Many people are aware of days of Blueprint: Ra2, which later was renamed to Ra2Mods.com, founded by RaGe, the downfall of this site marked a devastating blow to the community. However in the wake of the demise of this corner stone to the community, another network took over, the Eclipse Modding Network, which was also the host of Federation Studios in its early days. Federation Studios later branched out on its own and became by far the most successful community network since the fall of Blueprint: Ra2, however once again the community took a blow when Federation Studios called it a day, the torch was then carried on by a number of networks formed to pick up where this network left of. It has now been two years since the downfall of Federation Studios, but once again from the ashes of another community corner stone, another network is coming to bring back the community days of old.

ConquerGaming - Founded and led by Marshalus, founder and former Chief Executive of Federation Studios, ConquerGaming is the network dedicated to bringing you all the latest news and information in the community. The site covers every aspect of the CNC series dating all the way back to Tiberian Dawn and following through the series to bring you the most comprehensive archive of information for Red Alert, RA: Counter Strike, RA: Aftermath, Tiberian Sun, Firestorm, Red Alert 2, Yuri's Revenge, Renegade, Generals, Zero Hour and beyond.

Each of these hit CNC titles has its own section of the site, dedicated to nothing but the most extensive supply of game information, strategies, walkthroughs, modding tutorials, tools, maps, and game patches. Not only this but ConquerGaming also provides you with a database of some of the finest mods created in the history of the community and everything else you could possibly want from a CNC community site including editorials, interviews, reviews, and war stories.

Proudly hosted by the Edge Network, ConquerGaming is dedicated to bringing back the glory days of the community and giving you everything you could ever ask for in a community site. With a staff comprised of some of the most highly skilled modders and renowned community members, the information, tutorials, walkthroughs, and strategies are of the highest possible standard and won't be found anywhere else. In addition to all this there are also integrated forums for the community members. Whether it's to post a question on modding or gaming, or simply to hang out with some of the longest standing community members, all of whom are dedicated to providing you with all the help you need and bringing you the latest information and news from across the community.

In addition to bringing you the very best information and latest news, ConquerGaming also provides hosting services for community websites. Be it a site for a mod project, or a place for developers to get tips, ConquerGaming provides a high quality hosting package with benefits such as unlimited resources, email services, custom error documents, domain or sub domain hosting, CGI, PERL, PHP and SQL support, news and events coverage, FTP service, tech support, and access to the edgewebmaster system.

ConquerGaming will open June 1, 2004.

News Article - Monday Mod Reports - Posted on 18 May 2004 by Dancam
Woohoo! The last two editions of the Monday Mod Report are finally up on the Guild. While they were actually written on time, Des08tor has struggled to find the time to upload them. Thanks again to Argcmdr for sorting that for me.

Both of these are transitional reports as we shift to a new format. These changes are purely to make the report more readable, easier for me to compile and also easier for the modders to write.

Anyways, the reports can be accessed from this page.

News Article - Server Rebooted!- Posted on 16 May 2004 by Des08tor
Server has been rebooted, hopefully the site will run fine now. I was amazed to see the server reach 3.84 (1 cpu), we obviously have a high demand of usage of SQL queries. Anyway, we are back.

News Article - Expected downtime later today..... - Posted on 16 May 2004 by Des08tor
At 12:00GMT today we will be doing a server reboot. The CPU usage is amazingly high, even at some points managing to reach 3.31 and pushing the server very high into the red. This reboot will cause minimal downtime, we expect 10mins min but 30mins max downtime.

Thought we'd just warn you...

News Article - Network Updates... - Posted on 15 May 2004 by Des08tor
Few updates have happened today. Most importantly the forums have been updated again... They now have the lotto hack, bank hack and credits hack 100 working. The Shop hack is still being contructed, huge thanks to sleipnir for helping me with this. We also have 1 new skin, FIBlack3d. More skins coming soon...

Other News
+ YR Argentina has a lovely new shp up today and a great map by diesystem.

+ May 10th Monday Mod Report will be up tommorrow (sorry dan but I didn't have time this week)

+ Finally, last, but not least (well maybe least), the biggest change to the entire network, Fenring has problems with his stealth@cncguild.net e-mail account so his new e-mail is fenring@cncguild.net. Note that down! We don't want him complaining to me again about not receiving no e-mail for a week, now do we....

News Article - 2021: Cataclysm Update - Posted on 13 May 2004 by ArgCmdr
2021: Cataclysm, proudly reveals yet another unit. However, it is to notice that it doesnt play a major role, and it isnt even buildable. Its purpose is to star in some of the fourteen mission maps to ship with a public version (campaigns are already 60% done). Model and environment was made by myself, and soon ingame screenshots (alongside with how Arcanna looks ingame) will be shown as well. Plus a planetary report on the investigations made on this portal.

For further information, and, if you dont know what this is about, storyline-wise, i suggest going to our site , place where youll be able to get deeper into the outstanding universe of Cataclysm.

News Article - C&C Guild Hosting Blue Horizon - Posted on 09 May 2004 by Natus
Well, well, I have decided to come out of the relative shadows and get my new mod hosted. Yes indeed, Blue Horizon is the latest project to be given a home at the 1st class network we know and love. The mod, led by me, aims to be a mixture of Fallout style infantry combat meets Rise Of Nations style tank battles. Translation: Originality and style. Have a peek here, I will obviously show some of the work which has gone on out of public eye (Well, items not shown on Savage War and the Guild).

http://forums.cncguild.net/viewforum.php?f=133

Lovely stuff indeed.

I want public ideas and feedback, so please, drop me a line on the link above.

News Article - This Monday - Posted on 08 May 2004 by Dancam
I regret to announce that this week we will not be releasing the second mod report as previously thought. It is currently difficult for both the modders and myself to collaborate on such a scale to produce a report of that size especially with many exams coming up all around.

At the moment, I am undecided as to whether to make this a two-weekly affair, or to work with half of the mods one week and half the next. Rest assured however, that the Monday Mod Report will be around for a while to come yet, and we might even find some other things to spice up the beginning of the week!

News Article - Voxel Grand Prix II Winner is... - Posted on 06 May 2004 by ArgCmdr
These are the final results for the Voxel Grand Prix II - April 2004.

Results are based onto the veredicts of ArgCmdr, Major_Gilbear and Spider-man_2099 (Substituting Lord Kal, as he wasnt yet able to pass us the results).

Submitted Files:

MadHQ´s Aircraft Carrier

Mig Eater´s Metal Gear Rex

Raminator´s Harvester

Daz´s Sea King

BobingAbout´s Tank

The score table is:

Final Ranking
1. Mig Eater: 63,3
1. MadHQ: 63,3
3. Raminator: 60,3
4. BobingAbout: 56,3
5. Daz: 56,0

Congratulations Mig Eater & MadHQ - Winners of the Voxeler of The Month April 2004 Award!

I must say that all of the entries were quite levelled, and that it was specially hard to qualificate one or another (notice that thyre all in a range of 8 points...). Wed like to encourage more people to take part next: you could be the next winner!

The assets rated above 60% will be made downloadable at YrArg in matter of minutes.

If you havent noticed, we had screwed up maths which had made MadHQ lose by 0,3. Special thanks to stucuk for noticing it. So, there, results revamped.

News Article - Round up... - Posted on 06 May 2004 by ArgCmdr
At our network, we have the following news:

+ YR Argentina has added a new voxel pack, a new map and a new utility.

+ The Voxel Grand Prix II will throw its reults tomorrow

+ A new network site will soon arise. Beware ;)

+ Voxel Section Editor III has entered beta testing phase. You may apply to test the program at Project Perfect Mod

Outside of it...

+ Act Of War are holding a screenshot week, unrevealing new units

+ BattleTech: The Capellan Solution have made downloadable a new beta version of their mod (V 1.25)

+ CNC DEN has 6 new Zero Hour Maps, one new mission for Zero Hour, and a new Wallpaper.

Finally, we have finished a button, which should soon be linkable (actully two, for those that feel choosey). If you want to link to us witha button, or want a button exchange, dear affiliate, throw us an email ;)

News Article - Development "troubles" - Posted on 04 May 2004 by Skywaters
Greetings..

As "hinted" upon in the Monday Mod Report development on Command Imperium has stalled, although not beause i'm busy but mainly because of a personal crisis currently on my hands. As i've always done, everything takes a backseat (especially when it's the issue it currently is). Please bear with me during this time and I hope to release updates/info in the coming weeks.

Thank You

News Article - First Monday Mod Report - Posted on 03 May 2004 by Des08tor
By Dancam on 03/05/04
Welcome to the first edition of the Monday Mod Report. This is hopefully going to be the first of many here at the CNC Guild and is designed to help you get the latest details on your favourite mods, behind the scenes information and exclusives not seen anywhere else. As this is the first edition of the MMR, I’d like to spend a bit of time just explaining the concept and how this thing is going to work over the coming months.

You’ll see one of these every Monday and it will be written either by me, or one of the other admins. The report will contain a short piece from as many of the mods currently hosted at the Guild as possible. Eventually we would like to see every mod team contributing every single week. However, we realise that this is not always going to be possible. Each report will contain information on the work that that particular mod team has recently been undertaken over the previous week.

Also every week, we will focus on one mod in particular which will be our ‘Mod of the Week’. Our coverage of this mod will include an interview with a member of the mod team, more in-depth coverage on the progress that the mod has seen and also we will be offering exclusives that you will be able to see here before anywhere else.

This week, our ‘Mod of the Week’ is Project Perfect Mod’s (PPM) ‘Final Dawn’ modification for Tiberian Sun.

To View the First Mod Report Click Here.
To View Dancams Interview to Banshee about PPM and Final Dawn click Here.

News Article - Communeteh! - Posted on 01 May 2004 by ArgCmdr
+ CNC Source is showing screenies from a new Renegade map, called C&C Mutation

+ Allmighty Call To Arms keeps astonishing us with some new wallpapers by GeneralSY, plus ten new screenshots, showing some of the new features ( i must say, these guys never stop pumping out goods!)

+ DeeZire has put up a new Generals - Zero Hour tutorial on how to add the "lock on" effect that all aircraft have on his mod, Pro: Gen

+ Blitzkrieg II shown some pics of the skins of their Tiger II, and have also posted a dev status report.

+ Bglman, over at Sleipnir´s Stuff, has unscrambled the RA2 and the TS normals. With this wonderful achievement, possibly the most important thing in the last year regarding RA2YR modding, both programs, VxlSe, and 3ds2vxl, will adapt to the scheme to recreate Westwood´s normals. 3DS2vxl already supports this, and i must say the results are awesome. So cheers for bglman, Virtual Prophet (Vi_Pr) and Stucuk!

+ Cold War Crisis, Generals TC that i have to add to the mod list (:P me ), have shown a number of renders and screenshots

+ The Finest Hour, have showed some pics of three new infantry men in their project.

+ At RenAlert, Aircraftkiller is working on the map Oilfield, which looks quite good so far.

+ Imperial Assault are showing new screenies and a new concept art.

This is about it. Someone please declare me official CNCG Community news poster, id love that rank. If you ever need a plug, just ask.

The Voxel Grand Prix II closes in exactly 25 minutes. The winner will be announced soon. So much emotion! ;) And of course. Be there for our Monday mod Report ;) !
